Erick Barnett
CEO / Cofounder
Erick founded Odyssey with his wife Missy in Sept. 2005, spinning off from Advance Med, LLC, bringing the Anesthesia division, employees and assets with him to Odyssey. Erick was a founder and 33% owner of Advance Med, LLC, from Sept. 2001 through Aug. 2005, which later sold to AHS Staffing, a Bel Healthcare brand. Prior to that, Erick helped start Med Travelers, a division of Staff Care, INC, focusing on temporary staffing for imaging technologists and therapists. Erick graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 and is huge fan of all things OU. Erick and Missy have two wonderful daughters and three dogs. Erick enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, lifting weights, and traveling.
Missy Barnett
President / Cofounder
Missy founded Odyssey with her husband Erick in Sept. 2005. Prior to that, Missy was the Accounting Director of Advance Med, LLC for 3+ years and Senior Accountant for Staff Care, INC. for 2 years. Missy’s primary focus at Odyssey is managing the accounting department as the CFO but she also helps out with operations and lead generation. Missy attended the University of TX at Arlington concentrating on Business Finance. Missy has two awesome daughters (Blythe & Mallory), 3 spoiled dogs (Max, Mila, and Millie), and 1 cat (Fergie).
Jared Santore
V.P. of Recruiting
Jared Santore has been in the medical staffing industry since 2007, with stops prior to Odyssey, at Comp Health & Global Medical Staffing. He started at Odyssey in 2014, moving to the Director of Recruiting role in 2017. His passion and determination make him a highly valued member of the Odyssey team. He takes great pride in helping healthcare providers find the perfect fit and helping recruiters reach their company and personal goals. Jared resides in Rockwall, TX and enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and their many rescue animals.
Zivan Snively
V.P. of Operations
Zivan Snively has been in the physician staffing industry since 2002. He first joined Odyssey Staffing in 2005, where he served as Vice President until 2011. After eleven of years working at different agencies and healthcare organizations, Zivan rejoined Odyssey Staffing in 2023, as Vice President of Operations.
His coaching background, leadership experience, and personal skills allows Zivan to flourish building a cohesive and goal-oriented team . His attention to detail and strong ability to drive results makes him a leader in the physician staffing industry and helps Odyssey Staffing consistently reach new goals.
Zivan resides in Frisco, Texas, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Matt Arnell
V.P. Sales and Account Management
Matt Arnell is the Vice President of Account Management at Odyssey Medical Staffing, specializing in healthcare staffing. With 15 years of experience in the industry, Matt has built a reputation for excellence in client relationship management and strategic staffing solutions.
Throughout his career, Matt has achieved remarkable milestones, including the extraordinary growth of a staffing company from $9 million to $160 million in just four years. His expertise lies in understanding and addressing clients’ staffing needs, ensuring that healthcare facilities are fully equipped to meet patient demands.
Matt is particularly skilled in developing and nurturing client relationships, helping organizations design and implement effective staffing structures that enhance patient care. His passion for creating tailored solutions that meet diverse healthcare needs drives his professional endeavors.
Outside of his professional life, Matt is dedicated to spending quality time with his family. He enjoys watching his son play basketball and his daughter dance, and he finds relaxation and inspiration in being near the ocean or on the beach.
