What is the cost after our first free report?

We are confident you're going to love our easy to use system for screening your applicants. That's why we offer to provide your first report at no charge. The price for your reports depends on the searches you choose to do. We'll provide you a customized price list based on the types of reports your company chooses to run.

How long does a Background Check take?

Most of our reports are completed within 24-72 hours after you order them. We verify our data directly with the courts so you are getting the most current information on your applicant. Our turnaround time depends on how quickly the courts respond to our request for information. Some of our reports such as driving records and database searches are returned instantly.

How do we order and access the reports?

Once your account is set up, you'll login to our secure web site to order and view your reports. We have multiple order methods including: you entering the information on your applicant, you sending an email to your applicant so they can enter their own information, using a secure hosted form that we can provide you for your applicant to enter their information. We also integrate with many applicant tracking systems.


Is there a contract we have to sign?

There is no contract to sign that binds you to us. When you sign up with us, you'll complete a service agreement that outlines the guidelines that need to be followed when requesting background checks on your applicants.

Is your data accurate?

As licensed private investigators, we take our responsibility to provide accurate information seriously. We encourage our clients to search county records rather than relying on an instant database search. While a database search can be a good "pointer" tool, the best practice is to search for records at the county and state level. By doing so, you will get the current disposition of any record that appears.

Can we customize our reports?

Yes, we encourage your organization to consult with us to determine the types of reports you need to run. Some positions within your organization may require a more in depth search than other positions. We'll provide you with some different report options that are customized to your needs.

How do we pay for our reports?

Most of our clients are on Net 30 payment terms. Others like to pay for each report as they go. We send monthly invoices by email and can set your account to automatically paid by credit card, if you wish.

How do you keep my information safe and secured?

Security is a high priority and an integral part in the design and development of our applicant screening system. Attention is given to high publicity threats such as viruses, denial of service attacks, and other malicious activities over the Internet, as well as to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive application data such as credit reports, social security numbers, and other identifying information. We use industry-leading technology to secure InstaScreen and its operating environment, including client authentication (password-controlled access), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, 128-bit data encryption, public-private key pair, firewalls, intrusion detection, filtering routers, and data backups. Each component acts as a layer of protection to safeguard information from unauthorized users, deliberate malfeasance, and inadvertent loss.

What can I do to correct inaccurate information in my background report?

If you feel your report contains inaccurate information, please let us know. Upon your request, we will review the disputed information with the source of the information. Following the review process, we will promptly correct any inaccuracies and provide you with an updated report.
